Official Live: 101 Proof

Lagi entri yang tertinggal dalam draf dari tahun lepas...yang menyambut ulang tahun ke 20 21...

Pantera - Official Live: 101 Proof (1997)

Ini adalah kenangan dari zaman Tower Records KL Plaza. Memang tiap-tiap bulan perabis duit gaji di situ. Dan ini adalah cd Pantera saya yang pertama.

Sebenarnya bukanlah peminat tegar Pantera. Sebelumnya cuma ada kaset Vulgar Display of Power (1992) dan Far Beyond Driven (1994). Tak beli The Great Southern Trendkill (1996) pasal tak minat. Tapi biasalah, dah menyelam dalam Tower Records memang tak pernah keluar tanpa pembelian.

Jarang diputarkan. Memang bertenaga.

Bukanlah album live yang terbaik. Tetapi ianya memang "power" dan "raw". F**KING HOSTIIIIIILE!!!!...

  2. Tower records was still around but downsized to small section inside Borders, the Garden when i visited a year ago. There was handfull of selection of power, death, trash and progressive metal cds. Hope still there. Salem Power Station Bukit Bintang and Tower Records Lot 10 were the best then.

    1. Bro! Dah terlambat bro! The writing is on the wall... Sampai Rock Corner kat KL pun semua dah gulung tikar. Zaman streaming Spotify, Youtube ni jangan harap ada orang nak kunjung kedai jual CD. Sekarang kalau nak beli CD ngan LP kena buat online.

  3. I know you want to promo rockatlarge and the wall writing stuff is true. I am also ebayer and the past 4 years of my music collection came from online shopping. But few physical stores still left to enjoy for example one in Mahkota Parade. While wife wandering through selection of latest fashion, one could however busying himself with nostalgic dose of old style music shopping. Rack by rack like in 80s and 90s. Oh yes! Tower records announce relocation to Tropicana Mall starting March 2018. Check their webpage.
